At the request of the Municipality of Tivat, a four-day basic training on EU project preparation (Modules I and II) was held from 10 to 13 June 2025 in the Municipality's Multimedia Hall. The training was delivered by Maja Pešić and Simona Bošković, trainers from the Training Centre of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro.
The training was attended by representatives of the Secretariat for Local Administration, the Secretariat for Transport and Housing and Communal Affairs, the Secretariat for Social Affairs, the Investor Relations Service, the Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Assembly Service, the Day Centre for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities, the Public Institution Museum and Gallery, Komunalno Ltd., and Water Supply and Sewerage Ltd.
During the training, participants were introduced to available funding opportunities, the fundamental concepts of project cycle management, stakeholder, problem and objective analysis, as well as the methodology for preparing projects using the Logical Framework Approach and completing EU project application forms. The programme also included practical group exercises, allowing participants to apply the knowledge they had acquired. The training concluded with a discussion and evaluation session, during which participants expressed a high level of satisfaction with both the programme content and the knowledge they gained.
