Under the EU co-funded Path4Med project, implemented through the Horizon Europe programme, a call for funding has been launched for local and regional authorities from the Mediterranean region.
The call is intended for public institutions involved in water and land management, environmental protection, meteorology, and agricultural policy.
The objective of the call is to support the implementation and testing of innovative solutions that contribute to reducing the use of fertilizers and to preventing, reducing, or remediating water and soil pollution.
Through this call, five pilot projects will be selected to receive financial support of up to EUR 100,000 each.
Applications may be submitted until 30 January 2026. To support potential applicants, a webinar will be organized on 26 November this year. The webinar is intended for all interested municipalities and public institutions wishing to learn more about the participation requirements and eligibility criteria, as well as to receive practical guidance on preparing their applications.
