The Interreg Danube Region Programme has opened the third targeted call for the submission of project proposals, and the deadline for submission is … 15 December 2025 u 2:00 PM.

The duration of the projects is up to 30 months, and the expected start date is 1 July 2026.
The programme area covers 14 countries of the Danube Region, including 9 EU Member States – Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany (regions of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria), Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia – as well as 5 non-EU countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine.
Each project must involve at least three partners from three different countries of the programme area, and at least one of the partners must be from an EU Member State belonging to the programme area.
The total budget allocated for this call amounts to €27.3 million in EU grants, and the co-financing rate by the European Union is up to 80% of the project budget.
The Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro is organizing an information day on the occasion of the Third Call for the submission of project proposals under the Danube Region Programme, which will be opened soon.
The information day will be held 13 October 2025 at Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora in Podgorica, starting at 11.00 hours.
In addition to representatives of the Ministry of European Affairs, the event will also feature speakers from the Joint Secretariat of the Danube Region Programme, which is based in Budapest, Hungary.
Interested participants can register for participation by filling out the registration form, by 7 October 2025. The maximum number of applications per organization is 2.
