Funding Programme	The European Union through the programme of the EU Delegation to Montenegro.
Budget Value	Total project budget: €2,135,570.00, of which the European Union co-finances €2,000,000.00. Value of the grant scheme for municipalities in Montenegro: €1,500,000.00
Project Objective	The objective of the project is to enhance local development in Montenegro by strengthening the capacities of municipalities for planning, preparing, and implementing development projects, as well as increasing their ability to access and efficiently use European Union funds.
Main Results	Main results: – Implementation of a grant scheme worth €1.5 million, through which municipalities carry out concrete investment projects in the fields of public infrastructure, local services, and local economic development; – Improved public infrastructure and quality of services in municipalities through funded projects (e.g. local infrastructure, communal services, public facilities, etc.); – Strengthened capacities of municipalities for the preparation, management, and implementation of projects funded by European Union funds; – Increased readiness of municipalities to use European Union funds, including Structural Funds, the IPARD III programme, and other financial instruments; – Established a system of continuous technical support for municipalities during the preparation and implementation of projects; – Activities for the exchange of experiences with local self-governments from European Union Member States have been carried out.
