The Union of Municipalities of Montenegro and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro hosted a donor evening for children without parental care on 2 April 2025 in Podgorica, as part of the program “Social and Existential Inclusion of Children and Youth without Parental Care – Connecting with Local Communities in Montenegro."

Support for youth without parental should not cease following their exit from the Public Institution Children’s Home “Mladost” in Bijela. On the contrary, this is exactly the moment when genuine, accountable, and methodical initiatives for their inclusion and empowerment must commence. 

In the light of the above, the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro has offered psychological and mentoring assistance to six youths transitioning from the Children’s Home this year, addressing a housing concern in one specific instance. The issue, however, is that the Union's funds, obtained through donations in the total amount of EUR 23,735.00, are inadequate, as they only provide for a few months of essential demands, making the program unsustainable. The donation campaign is perpetually active, inviting all socially responsible entities to contribute through the Union’s designated bank account:
