October 2  2014-The Union of Municipalities of Montenegro, in the cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and with the support of OSCE Mission to Montenegro, continues with the realization of the project “Best Practice Program in a Local Government”.

A long term realization of this project indicates that our members support such activities and consider it as a very useful. This is confirmed by a great number of applications on the previous calls for proposal for the best practice in a local government.

Applications for awarding the status of the Best Practice could be submitted on the four thematic areas:

– Making a favorable business environment to attract investment at the local level
– Transparency of the performance of local government in the anti-corruption activities at the   local level
– Energy Efficiency in the local government
– Development and providing of social services at the local level

Applications on the call for proposals for the best practice could be submitted by 31st October 2014
