Training for members of Ethical Committees for Elected Representatives and Officials

On 26 November 2012 in Podgorica, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro organize a 1-day training for members of Ethical Committees for Elected Representatives and Officials.

Mrs. Gordana Stevanović, Secretary General Deputy of the Secretariat of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Serbia, and Mr. Dragan Vujčić, former Director Deputy of the Office for Decentralization of the Republic of Serbia, were lecturers at the training.

The Guidelines through procedures of Ethical Committees for Elected Representatives and Officials were presented. The Guidelines were prepared according to the Model Decision on Ethical Committee for Local Elected Representatives and Officials prepared by the Union of Municipalities with the support of the OSCE.  

During the practical part of the training, members of Ethical Committees were working in groups related to the preparation of documents stating the violation of the Code of Ethics (based on prepared applications) and to conducting procedures in deferent specific cases.
